Modern Minimalist Prefabricated Concrete Home

The Modern Box House brings a sleek, minimalist vision to life with two rectangular volumes—one public, one private—linked by a transition bar. Its nearly lot-sized footprint shapes both presence and flow, balancing privacy with openness. Built with a prefabricated composite concrete system, the shell—including walls, roof, and second floor—was completed in 27 working days, providing fire protection and high insulation value, though total construction extended over eight months.

dl-Design Studio collaborated closely with the client, using plan diagrams, 3D models, and feng shui analysis to refine form and function. Even with some contractor adjustments, the spatial layout and window placement retained the intended design integrity. Distinct from its neighborhood, the home has influenced nearby modern residences, showing how thoughtful design can transform everyday living.
