Neighborhood Bar and Hospitality Renovation

Blotto occupies a corner of New Bern Avenue in a building that once served as a neighborhood 7-11, giving the space a sense of nostalgia and local connection. The industrial-inspired interior is centered on a large bar that wraps around a repurposed walk-in cooler, now the focal point of the room. Finishes and detailing reflect the client’s vision for a warm, inviting environment.

dl-Design Studio translated the client’s ideas into test-fit plans and 3D studies, capturing the energy of the space before construction began. The design was embraced immediately, demonstrating the studio’s ability to balance creativity, functionality, and the bar’s unique character. An outdoor seating area activates the streetscape, contributing to New Bern Avenue’s revitalization and offering a place where neighbors and visitors can gather and connect.
